I market what I believe in.

Stories are how we make change. I started reporting in newsrooms, built social audiences and websites for universities and startups, and now help nonprofits and healing practitioners tell clear, brave stories. I bring journalistic rigor, digital marketing know-how, and a deep commitment to social justice to every project.

  • I consistently read more than 200 books per year across all kinds of genres. Follow me on Goodreads to learn more.

  • Laura Vitale taught me to cook in the early days of YouTube, and I’ve been off and running ever since. From savory soups to sourdough and sweet cardamom buns, I’m your girl.

  • I’ve been knitting since 2013 and crocheting since 2024. I’m quite happy to be left alone with a pair of needles and a show to binge. I like making amigurumi (stuffed animals), hats, and more.

  • I’m an RYT200 with a special interest in yoga for trauma healing. My favorite styles are a super hot vinyasa flow or a juicy yin. It’s all about balance.

  • Who doesn’t love being outside? Hiking, skiing, SUPing… but mostly climbing. When it’s dry season in the Pacific Northwest, I can often be found somewhere in a boulder field projecting lowballs (because I’m actually scared of heights!).

  • Yup, she knows puck. One day, as a kid, I turned on the TV and started watching a hockey game, and many years later, I still follow the NHL closely. I’ve made it it to two San Jose Sharks games, my adopted team. I’d love to play someday, but I’ll need to upgrade my skating skills from just moving slowly forward on roller blades.
One of my many dream jobs is working in marketing/communications for a hockey team at any level.

Interests

I’m a human with too many hobbies…

Just Until Now: Poems

In 2024 I published my first collection of poems. Just Until Now is a sincere, languid, and sometimes haunting collection of poetry that explores the themes of faith, relationships, the creative process and the created world. It’s available at your least favorite online retailer in paperback and ebook.

“Some believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check... but it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay."
