Overall brand strategy for Lighthouse Transitional Care
At Lighthouse Transitional Care, I lead all marketing and communications efforts to amplify the organization’s mission of supporting young adults transitioning out of orphan care.
I manage storytelling across every channel—building and maintaining the website, crafting donor-focused email campaigns, and creating social content that raises awareness and deepens community engagement.
My work includes developing long-term communications strategy, shaping brand identity, producing print and digital materials, and partnering with local organizations to execute events and campaigns.
Whether I’m writing copy, designing assets, or structuring a multi-channel outreach plan, my focus is always on creating clear, ethical, and impactful communications that ultimately benefit the youth we serve.
SEO copywriting + project management for Towards A Better World
I’ve always been a committed writer, but working with the world-changing clients at Towards A Better World pushed my SEO writing to a new level. There, I learned how to combine ethical storytelling with strategic keyword research, technical best practices, and content architecture that truly moves rankings.
As a project manager, I oversee full-funnel digital strategy — including SEO, email marketing, and social media — for a portfolio of about a dozen clients, ensuring each channel supports both visibility and conversion.
Selected SEO results:
50% of one client’s total website traffic now comes from organic search, with rankings across 50+ high-volume keywords—a mix of localized terms and niche queries aligned with her specialty.
Clicks increased 50% and impressions grew 297% within the first four months of working together.
Ranking on page one for 13+ keywords, particularly long-tail queries commonly searched and discussed in communities like Reddit, demonstrating strong content-to-audience alignment.
Printful video production
At startup unicorn + print-on-demand powerhouse Printful, I helped bring new products, features, and facilities to life through educational and promotional video content. I co-wrote and edited video scripts, presented on-camera, and collaborated closely with designers, product teams, and marketing to ensure each video was clear, accurate, and engaging. I also hosted live webinars to strengthen client relationships and support product launches. This playlist highlights a selection of videos I helped script, shape, and present.

House of Chingasos: Passion Drives Success in Ecommerce
In April 2020, at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in the US, Carlos Ugalde’s store hit an all-time high. House of Chingasos made more than $200,000. He used his trademark combination of Latino culture and humor to lighten the mood about the situation and released new Covid-related designs. “I wanted to sympathize with my audience because I hate this virus,” Ugalde says. Queer Ivy Art: a Journey to Self-Acceptance and Business Success
Danny’s a strong, independent ecommerce business owner. That word “independent” is an important one, because for members of the cult Danny was raised in, “independence” was a bad word. Danny (they/them and fae/faer pronouns) was assigned female at birth, and in their community, females do not work outside the home. (Read more…)
Award-winning content for Oregon State University
For my first three years at Oregon State University, I was part of the University Marketing team where I wrote blog posts and contributed to videos including the Powered by Orange and Beaver Nation campaigns. I also followed a student group from the College of Business to Uganda who partnered with an NGO to support women suffering from childbirth injuries.
Upon moving to the College of Forestry, I oversaw production of the college’s biennial reports and alumni magazines. I developed overarching messaging, drafted and edited feature stories, and coordinated with designers and photographers.
The College of Forestry received a CASE award in 2019 for a paid recruitment campaign for its strategic impact and measurable results: increasing enrollment for programs including Wood Science, Forest Engineering, and Natural Resources.
